Elmo

Elmo, my Leopard Gecko, has been missing for a week. I was worried he'd be missing for a very long time (some people find their geckos after nine months!) because he has troubles shedding, and I need to help him by giving him luke warm baths. But he came home, straight to my mother, and my parents sent him back to his tank.

Elmo is about at least 15 years. Dan (the original owner) doesn't know his current age, but he's had him for quite some time. I took him as my own pet after the family stopped paying attention to him and helped him get strong again. He is my child, I don't know what I'd do if he never returned. I need him, he's one of the few creatures who keeps me happy. When he passes, I plan to get either a female Leopard Gecko (not for breeding) or a Bearded Dragon.

In case if you're wondering what I am using for his tank, I use reptile carpet. Pretty nice to use, though you have to wash it occasionally.

Elmo is a Leopard Gecko. I have a soft spot for reptiles now because of him. They are the most perfect pets you could ever have. They don't need that much attention, and you only need to feed these guys every 2-3 days.
